Lovely use of wide angle … but this image is really made by the echoing effect of the cloud and the sand. Both equally pock-marked. I love this image. I will be in France in just two weeks. Soooo looking forward to it.

So beautiful, with the cloud patterns echoing those of the sand.
I would love to be back at St Jean de Luz. We were there this summer, but my beach scene is a bit more crowded than yours:
